Take the BQE east, not the LIE from Queens
Picking up in Williamsburg and taking the BQE to the LIE or Belt Parkway is often faster for the Hamptons or Rockaways than fighting through Queens traffic first.

Depots cluster near the main Bedford Ave corridor and around the BQE. Check the exact pickup address — they can be 10–15 minutes apart on foot.
